Non credo che il boicottaggio sar\u00e0 possibile. Perci\u00f2, l’unica soluzione \u00e8 fare dei Giochi l’esatto opposto di ci\u00f2 che vogliono i massacratori del regime comunista cinese: un’occasione di denuncia delle spaventose violazioni dei diritti umani che avvengono in quel Paese. Ho presentato un ddl, da maggio all’esame del Senato, che propone di inserire obbligatoriamente informazioni sulle atrocit\u00f2 del regime e sulle violazioni a tutti i diritti fondamentali nelle trasmissioni che riguardano le Olimpiadi. Il ddl \u00e8 stato firmato da 46 senatori, prevalentemente di quello che oggi \u00e8 il PdL ma anche degli altri gruppi parlamentari.<\/p>\n
Sono convinto che non ci sia via pi\u00f9 efficace per difendere la libert\u00e0. Non possiamo imporre ai nostri atleti di rinunciare al momento pi\u00f9 importante della loro carriera, e non possiamo pensare a proteste sul posto perch\u00e9 sarebbero represse anche dalle autorit\u00e0 sportive. Ma non possiamo neanche contribuire alla celebrazione della pi\u00f9 pericolosa dittatura del pianeta. Usiamo le loro stesse armi: loro vogliono usare i Giochi per rendersi presentabili?
