The debate coincided with the 59<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the rounding up of Rome\u2019s Jewish community, and was witnessed by representatives of Rome\u2019s Jewish community, including Riccardo Pacifici, President of the Hebrew Congregation of Rome and Chief Rabbi Riccardo Di Segni.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proposing the bill, Senator Silvana Amati declared herself \u201cexcited and satisfied\u201d at the initiative which has attracted support from across the political spectrum.
