Il senatore Lucio Malan ne ricorda la grande attenzione posta alla questione delle Intese: \u00abNel 2007 non era parlamentare ma presidente della FCEI e continuava a occuparsene: in quell’anno ci fu una serie importante di Intese stipulate con lo Stato, di confessioni anche non appartenenti al ramo giudaico-cristiano. Continu\u00f2 a occuparsi anche del tema della libert\u00e0 religiosa, organizzando incontri e convegni, ma – soprattutto – era un uomo in grado di discutere con tutti al di l\u00e0 degli schieramenti, tanto in ambito politico quanto in quello ecclesiastico, dove interloquiva anche con le Chiese non legate al protestantesimo storico\u00bb.<\/p>\n
