“L’allarme resta alto, specialmente nel Canavese, mentre ci sono stati significativi progressi nella zona intorno a Pinerolo, grazie allo stupendo lavoro di vigili del fuoco e Anti Incendio Boschivo (AIB). A loro va la gratitudine di tutti e va fornito ogni appoggio possibile. I loro turni sono stati raddoppiati, dunque sono doppiamente sotto sforzo.<\/p>\n
Ho parlato con il Prefetto di Torino, Renato Saccone, il quale mi ha assicurato che – se coloro che hanno la responsabilit\u00e0 del coordinamento degli interventi lo riterranno necessario – lui \u00e8 pronto a chiedere l’intervento dell’Esercito. Regione e Vigili del Fuoco sono oggi i protagonisti dell’azione antincendio, a seguito della recente abolizione del Corpo forestale voluta dal Governo Renzi. Si tratta di una situazione in parte nuova e andr\u00e0, dunque, verificato se le nuove modalit\u00e0 hanno funzionato. Per ora, l’apporto dell’Esercito non \u00e8 stato richiesto, perch\u00e9 servono operazioni specialistiche per le quali Vigili del Fuoco e AIB sono addestrati e che stanno svolgendo al meglio. I nostri soldati sono pronti a fare, come sempre, la loro parte, se richiesti.<\/p>\n
